Teacher of Math - Secondary School

We are working closely with our school in Horncastle who are looking to add a Math teacher from May until the end of the academic year, likely beyond and in to 2027. Some of the key responsibilities include:

* Plan and teach KS3/KS4 Math effectively and creatively across the age and ability range.

* Ensure students are assessed in line with department and school policy and to use assessment
to inform student learning.

* Report to parents on student progress as required by school policy.

* Attend and contribute to Math department meetings.

* Follow departmental schemes of work and where appropriate, contribute to their development.

* Promote Math in the school and contribute to enrichment and extra-curricular activities.

* Support student learning through regular target setting.

* To keep up to date with current thinking and new initiatives regarding Math Teaching.
