This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to teach Health & Social Care at KS4 and Post-16, delivering engaging lessons that prepare students for further study and careers within the health, social care and public services sectors.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and effective Health & Social Care lessons across KS4 and Post-16.
- Inspire students through creative and innovative teaching.
- Prepare learners successfully for examinations and coursework assessments.
- Monitor, assess and track student progress, providing effective feedback.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, achievement and attendance.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
- Support enrichment activities and wider school initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and improve outcomes.
- Participate fully in staff meetings, parents'' evenings and professional development activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A degree in Health & Social Care, Social Sciences, Nursing, Public Health or a related discipline.
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care at KS4 and/or Post-16 level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the subject.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to motivate, challenge and support learners of all abilities.
- A commitment to raising attainment and achieving excellent student outcomes.
- A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
