The Role
As a Teacher of French, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring French lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Foster pupils'' confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports progress for all learners.
- Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing effective feedback to support attainment.
- Contribute to the continued development of the French curriculum and departmental initiatives.
- Promote an appreciation of French language and culture through enrichment activities and wider learning opportunities.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving it.
- Have the ability to teach French across KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language learning.
- Have high expectations of student achievement, behaviour, and engagement.
- Be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent communication skills.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a successful and supportive team.
- Be committed to delivering an inclusive and inspiring educational experience for all students.
