Teacher of French as a Foreign Language

We wish to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic full-time Teacher of French as a Foreign Language, to cover maternity leave in our Secondary School, starting in January 2026. Jeannine Manuel School is an English/French bilingual school, situated in Bloomsbury, whose mission is to promote international understanding through a bilingual education. Fostering an enjoyment of the subject through extra-curricular enrichment is of central importance to our work and we welcome applications from teachers who share this ethos. The successful applicant will be offering FLE classes for pupils who require it across our secondary school. They will also be responsible, along with one other Librarian, for the maintenance and stock management of the Secondary School library, monitoring pupil use of the space and resources, and supervising pupils from Years 7 to 10 while they are using the library. A passion for working with young people is a requirement. The successful candidate will have native level French, with a good level of English.
