Teacher of Food Technology

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary school in Ormskirk to recruit a Full Time Teacher of Food Technology, starting immediately through to the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a full-time position offering a daily rate of up to -223.62, depending on experience. The school is seeking a teacher with strong subject knowledge and the ability to confidently deliver engaging, practical lessons.

The role:

• Teacher of KS3 and KS4 Food Technology
• Start date: Immediately
• End date: 17 July 2026
• Full-time position
• Deliver high-quality, practical Food Technology lessons

The school:

• Secondary school in West Lancashire
• 11-18 provision

The essentials:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Full 10-year career history
• Minimum of two references, including most recent employment
• Legal right to work in the UK
