Teacher of English

We are working with a well-regarded Secondary Academy in Braintree, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a dedicated English Teacher. This Braintree academy is committed to delivering high-quality language education, fostering cultural awareness, and supporting students to achieve excellence across Key Stages, September start. 

The Role

• Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available for suitable candidates)
• Plan, assess, and differentiate lessons to support all learners
• Monitor progress and implement strategies to raise attainment
• Contribute to curriculum development within the English department
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic success

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (or due to achieve QTS for ECTs)
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
• Passionate about teaching and student achievement
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Committed to continuous professional development
