Temporary BTEC Chemistry Lecturer (Full-Time) Greater Manchester September Start - Until Christmas 2026 in the 1st instance Rate: 30- 40 per hour - 36 hours per week paid Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated BTEC Chemistry Lecturer to join a successful sixth form college in Greater Manchester on a full-time temporary basis from September until the Christmas break. The successful candidate will: Deliver engaging and high-quality BTEC Chemistry lessons. Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the BTEC curriculum and assessment requirements. Support and inspire students to achieve their full academic potential. Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom management. Work collaboratively with the Science department to support student success and progression. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a recognised teaching qualification, or relevant further education teaching qualification. Experience teaching Chemistry within a BTEC or vocational setting. Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice. Good understanding of BTEC assessment and internal verification requirements. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). Eligibility to work in the UK.
