Teacher of Business

Reports to: Head of Faculty - Business and Computing Start date: September 2026 Contract: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils of all abilities Deliver an ambitious Business curriculum that prepares pupils for GCSE and/or BTEC qualifications Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning within the Business department Create a positive learning environment where pupils are motivated, engaged and supported to achieve their potential Knowledge and Experience: Ability to deliver consistently outstanding lessons in this subject to pupils of all ages and abilities Thorough knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum in the subject Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding and Child Protection issues Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, well developed planning and organising skills including time management A clear passion for your subject and the ability to enthuse and inspire others Qualification Criteria: Qualified to at least degree level in the subject being taught Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Right to work in the U.K. Safeguarding statement: Ark is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in its academies.
