The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Business & Economics to join our thriving independent school in South West London from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners to contribute to a high-achieving and supportive academic environment.
The successful candidate will teach Business and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Business and Economics at GCSE and A-Level

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the curriculum

Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and co-curricular activities

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Person Specification
Essential:
-
A strong academic background in Business, Economics, or a related subject
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it (ECTs welcome)

A passion for teaching and learning

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to motivate and inspire students
Desirable:

Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Business and Economics

Experience in an independent or high-performing school environment
