Teacher of Boys'' PE Essential Criteria 1. An Honours Degree (2:2 level or above) in a sport related field. Please explain. 2. A secondary level teaching qualification in PE and a subsidiary subject as recognised by the Department of Education by August 2026. 3. Experience of teaching PE to GCSE level, post qualification. Please explain. 4. A qualification in basketball or football coaching. Desirable Criteria 1. Experience of teaching CTEC PE, post qualification. 2. Experience of teaching BTEC Sport or vocational sport qualifications, post qualification. 3. Experience of organising and developing an extracurricular programme in basketball and/ or football. 4. Ability and willingness to offer another subject (please specify). The Board of Governors reserves the right to refine the criteria for shortlisting purposes.
