Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.

  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of students.

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.

  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes respect, high expectations, and a love of learning.

  • Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and departmental initiatives.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.

  • Maintain accurate pupil records and provide timely feedback to students and parents.

  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

  • Uphold the school''s safeguarding, behaviour, and equal opportunities policies.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Degree in relevant subject area.

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.

  • Ability to inspire, motivate and engage students of varying abilities.

  • Excellent classroom management skills.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
