Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.
Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of students.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes respect, high expectations, and a love of learning.
Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and departmental initiatives.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.
Maintain accurate pupil records and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Uphold the school''s safeguarding, behaviour, and equal opportunities policies.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in relevant subject area.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
Ability to inspire, motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
