Teacher - Counselling Department: Northern College Salary: From 30702 to 34484 per annum (pro rata 15351 - 17242) Contract Type: Permanent Part time 18.5 hours per week Starting Salary - Appointments are normally made at the bottom of the salary scale. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support learners studying Counselling Skills and Counselling Studies programmes up to Level 3. In this role, you will deliver engaging and inclusive teaching, ensuring learners develop the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours required for progression within the counselling profession. You will plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences, assess learner achievement, support individual progress and contribute to a positive learning environment where students can thrive. Working within CPCAB requirements, you will facilitate counselling skills practice, personal development groups and reflective learning activities, while supporting learners to develop active listening, empathy, self-awareness and an understanding of professional and ethical practice.
