Teaching Assistants play an essential role in schools, whether on a daily, long-term, or permanent basis. This role involves supporting teachers by assisting with classroom activities, preparing resources, and supervising pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs.

Key Requirements for the Teaching Assistant Role in Abersychan:

• A CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least six months’ relevant experience
• Confidence in managing classes of pupils aged 11 to 16+
• Effective behaviour management skills to maintain pupil engagement
• Flexibility to work across various departments and with different age groups on a daily basis
