Tax Senior

RECfinancial are currently shortlisting for this well-rounded Leicester based Practice as they look to recruit a Tax Senior professional with strong advisory capability, specifically within Corporate Tax.

While a background in personal tax is beneficial, the primary focus of this role is delivering high-quality corporate tax advisory services to a diverse client base.

This multi site Practice has an excellent reputation within the market place with a solid, growing client base.

What is the role of the Tax Senior?

• Lead and support on business and share reorganisations, including incorporations 

• Provide restructuring advice and develop tax-efficient strategies aligned to client objectives

• Advise on share-related matters, including share rights, purchase of own shares, and ownership structures (including EMI schemes)

• Deliver SPA advisory work, including accounting input and tax due diligence

• Prepare and manage HMRC clearance applications

• Support clients with exit strategies, including Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) planning

• Advise on structuring businesses for growth, scalability, and risk mitigation

• Share valuation experience is advantageous, but not essential

• Corporate tax compliance and reporting

• Business tax advisory support across a varied portfolio

• Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) planning

• Residence and domicile advisory

• Trust and estate administration
