A long established, forward-thinking and expanding CA Firm in Aberdeen seeks a suitably qualified CTA/ATT/CA/ACCA or more qualified by experience to join as Tax Senior Manager. The role offers a varied, mixed tax focus at Senior Manager level, reporting to Partners, with a stronger emphasis on advisory and tax planning. The role can be more Personal or Corporate tax biased depending on your tax background and preference. Remote working may be considered for the UK, ideally Scotland.This is a leadership role offering the opportunity to lead a team and play a key role in the firm’s tax department and the wider practice, with support for ongoing professional growth including training and further qualifications if desired.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the tax function within the firm, contributing to the wider practice as a key member of the tax team.
Provide advisory and tax planning services for a varied client portfolio, with involvement in some complex compliance work.
Engage with international tax considerations as part of the advisory mix where appropriate.
Collaborate with Partners to deliver high-quality tax solutions and strategic insights for clients.
Qualifications
CTA/ATT/CA/ACCA or more qualified by experience.
Several years of UK tax experience gained from another accountancy firm.
