Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Senior to join a growing and supportive accountancy practice. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, ranging from sole traders to high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed businesses. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality personal tax services while supporting wider advisory work and building strong client relationships.
The role involves:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, directors and business owners
• Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, supporting junior team members where required
• Providing tax advice across areas such as capital gains tax, VAT and aspects of corporation tax
• Supporting senior team members with advisory projects and technical tax queries
• Liaising with HMRC and handling client correspondence effectively
• Meeting with prospective clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions

You’ll need:

• Previous experience in personal tax within a UK accountancy practice
• ATT qualified, part-qualified CTA or qualified by experience
• Broad awareness of UK tax areas beyond personal tax
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Confidence in dealing directly with clients and supporting colleagues
• Experience with IRIS software is advantageous but not essential
