This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager or Tax Manager ready to step up, take ownership of a portfolio and broaden their advisory experience, with a clear route towards a senior leadership position. This role can be filled on a 4 or 5 day per week basis. The role will have a strong private client focus, combining tax compliance with increasing involvement in advisory work. Key responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of private clients, overseeing income tax compliance and preparing tax computations and returns. Liaise with HMRC on client matters and undertake research into tax technical issues. Assist with the preparation of tax advice across areas including income tax and CGT. Build strong relationships with clients and other professional advisers. Develop your advisory skillset by working alongside senior colleagues on more complex client matters. Contribute to the development of the wider tax team and help improve processes and service delivery.
