Liaising and corresponding with HMRC in respect of clearance applications, enquiries etcDrafting reports and letters of advice for a number of tax advisory issuesPreparing calculations to support adviceLiaising with clients and attending meetings with other team membersTraining and reviewing the work of more junior members of staffProviding support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory GroupAdvice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS, staff incentive schemesAdvising owner-managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planningPreparation of research and development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returnsAdvising individuals regarding IHT planning and CGT mitigationReviewing corporate tax computations and returnsProfile / Qualifications
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldProfessional tax or accounting certificationProficiency in tax advisory and managementExcellent project management skillsStrong knowledge of tax laws and regulationsExceptional client service skillsProven ability to develop and implement tax strategiesJob Offer / Benefits
