In this team you will gain wide-ranging experience in core transactional work – including private equity, infrastructure and clean-tech, distressed debt and turnaround transactions, and restructuring. You’ll develop a commercial understanding of what matters to clients in a deal context, with early exposure to international structuring techniques and overseas tax regimes as many transactions are cross-border.We are expanding our Private Capital Transactions Tax team and are keen to speak with experienced Tax Advisors.Your Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with clients, proactively winning work and delivering high levels of client serviceManage the successful delivery of technically complex projects with a practical/business focusOverall responsibility for quality of client serviceManage leads from other areas of the practiceBuild networks and relationships internally and externally to leverage opportunitiesDevelop junior staff through supervision, coaching and mentoringInvolve in team strategy and operations and staff development and assignmentsExperience and Skills
Client focus and commercially aware with strong international and UK tax technical skillsAbility to build strong client relationships and produce high-quality outputsNegotiation skills and resilience to handle challengesBusiness development skills and ability to identify and convert opportunitiesStrong business acumen with ability to manage engagement financial resultsEffective time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTeam-oriented with ability to foster effective collaborationCommitment to delivering quality work and day-to-day deliveryFlexible, innovative mindset and openness to adopting new technologiesQualifications
Experienced tax practitioner with deep experience of tax transactionsAttained ATT / ACA / CA / CTA or equivalent breadth of knowledge (e.g., law qualification)Graduate or equivalent work experienceExperience of managing a team and/or coaching and developing team membersProject management skills: plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines, monitor budgetsWhat We Look For
