Tax Disputes Director - Top 10 FirmLocation: LondonSalary: £90,000 - £110,000 + benefitsWorking Pattern: HybridThe OpportunityA Top 10 professional services firm is looking to appoint a Tax Disputes Director to join its established and growing Tax Investigations and Disputes team in London. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Tax Disputes professional to take ownership of complex client matters while playing a key role in the continued growth of the practice, both internally and externally. The role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients on complex HMRC investigations and disputes, whilst leveraging the wider capabilities and client base of a Top 10 firm.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex HMRC enquiries, tax investigations and disputes from initial engagement through to resolution.Manage high-value and technically challenging tax disputes across a range of taxes.Handle and advise on COP8 and COP9 investigations.Advise clients on HMRC enquiries, information requests, voluntary disclosures and settlement negotiations.Develop effective dispute resolution strategies and negotiate settlements with HMRC.Act as a senior technical adviser to clients on contentious tax matters.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to expand the relationship.Drive external business development, developing new relationships with clients, professional intermediaries and key sources of work.Take an active role in ..... full job details .....
