We are a network of specialists in Private Client Tax offering a forward-thinking environment with a supportive management team.We are looking to recruit a US Private Client Tax Assistant Manager based in London. The role involves working closely with a strong team on diverse clients and projects, collaborating across teams and locations, and helping to build a new US tax practice within a Big 4 firm.What will you be doing?As a US/UK tax assistant manager, you will assist with tax compliance management and client relationship management under the guidance of a line manager. You will work on advisory projects related to tax and residency queries while developing client relationships.You will also contribute to building and developing a new US tax team within a Big 4 firm, requiring strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, professional advisors, and colleagues.Experience with:The compliance process of US tax returns of varying complexity and related cross-jurisdictional issues.Reviewing US tax returns and communicating points back to the team.Delegating work to junior team members and training them in technical and soft skills.Understanding domicile and residence issues, including the Substantial Presence Test and the Statutory Residence Test.Managing client relationships, work in progress, billing, and cash collection.What will you need to do it?Essential:EA and ATT qualifiedExperience in preparing and reviewing US tax returnsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesire to own your career developmentProficiency in CCH AxcessTo discuss this or other Tax roles, apply, create a profile, upload your CV, and start your journey with KPMG.Our Locations:We are open to talent across the UK, with core hubs in London Canary Wharf, Leeds, Manchester, and Bristol.
