Tax and Finance Projects AccountantLocation: Surrey (Hybrid Working Available)Salary: Competitive + BenefitsAn established and successful organisation is currently searching for a Tax and Finance Projects Accountant to join it''s Finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with tax experience who wants to broaden their exposure across VAT, Corporation Tax, financial accounting and project work within a commercial environment.The Role:Working closely with the Tax Manager, you will support all aspects of UK tax compliance whilst contributing to wider finance projects and reporting activities.Key Responsibilities:Preparing and submitting VAT returnsSupporting Corporation Tax reporting and complianceAssisting with tax accounting, including current and deferred taxPreparing tax reconciliations and supporting financial reportingMaintaining compliance with HMRC requirementsLiaising with external advisers and internal stakeholdersSupporting finance projects and process improvementsAssisting with treasury and financial accounting activities when requiredAbout You:Experience preparing VAT returnsKnowledge of UK Corporation TaxExperience within tax compliance, practice, industry or HMRCUnderstanding of tax accounting principlesStrong Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsA proactive and self-motivated approachStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience with tax software such as Alphatax and knowledge of partial ..... full job details .....
