Accounts and Tax AssistantLocation: CreweSalary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annumJob Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are looking to recruit for an Accounts and Tax Assistant to become a part of an established multi-office accountancy firm based in Crewe. This role is perfect for someone with some Practice experience that wants to add value as well as learning more on the job.Day-to-day of the role:Limited company accounts and taxVAT returnsSelf-Assessment Tax ReturnsBookkeepingLooking after existing clientsSigning up new clientsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Positive attitude and great communication skills - both written and verbal.A good team player with a high level of attention to detail.Strong organisational and time management skills.Minimum of 2 years of Tax / Practice experience.Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, TaxCalc is desirable but not essential.AAT qualification is preferred but not mandatory.Benefits:28 days of holiday plus a bonus birthday day off.Lunchtime finish of a FridayGenuine opportunities for career progression.On-site parking.Quarterly in-person full team meetings to contribute ideas and reconnect.This client is keen on getting the recruitment process for this role underway ASAP.
