Tax Advisory Manager - Hybrid

A leading and fast-growing UK accountancy and advisory firm is looking to appoint a Tax Advisory Manager to join their team in Northampton. While the role is being recruited at manager level, the firm is also open to considering strong Assistant Manager candidates who are ready to take the next step in their career.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s tax advisory function, working closely with senior leadership and colleagues across departments. You’ll take the lead on client advisory work, manage projects, and play a key role in mentoring junior team members, all within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
 
Your responsibilities as the Tax Advisory Manager or Assistant Manager will include:

• Collaborating with the wider tax and client service teams to develop advisory services.
• Visiting other regional offices to support advisory capability and team development.
• Identifying tax advisory opportunities and supporting implementation.
• Managing your own workflow and effectively delegating tasks.
• Assisting with internal tax queries and technical support.
• Supporting the Tax Directors and Client Service Directors on advisory projects.
• Contributing to the training and mentoring of junior team members.

 
To be considered for the role of Tax Advisory Manager or Assistant Manager:

• ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience in tax advisory (ideally mixed tax, with a corporate focus).
• Proven background in practice-based tax advisory work.
• Comfortable in a client-facing role or eager to build that experience.
