The firm works with a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and private clients, providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services. This is a hands-on position for someone who has developed their career within an accountancy practice and is now looking for a role where they can take ownership of a varied client portfolio. You''ll be responsible for both tax compliance and advisory work, managing client relationships and providing practical, commercially focused tax advice. Key Responsibilities Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax computations and returns Providing personal and corporate tax planning advice Advising clients on Capital Gains Tax Supporting clients with VAT and CIS-related matters Providing tax planning support to owner-managed businesses, directors, sole traders and individuals Calculating tax liabilities and advising clients on payments and deadlines Identifying tax planning and tax-saving opportunities Liaising directly with HMRC on behalf of clients Supporting clients with HMRC enquiries and investigations Managing tax compliance deadlines ..... full job details .....
