Tax Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Accountant to join our client on a 6-month interim basis. The primary focus of this role is to review, streamline, and improve the VAT return process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Review and enhance existing VAT return processes across the businessIdentify inefficiencies and implement process improvements and controlsPrepare and submit accurate and timely VAT returnsEnsure compliance with relevant VAT regulations and internal policiesLiaise with internal stakeholders to improve data quality and reportingSupport audits and respond to VAT-related queries from tax authoritiesDocument processes and provide recommendations for long-term improvementsKey Requirements:Proven experience in indirect tax/VAT accountingStrong knowledge of VAT regulations and complianceExperience in process improvement and systems optimisationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced ..... full job details .....
