Tax Accountant

Role: Preparing self-assessment tax returns and accountsCarrying out analysis, calculations, and submissions to HMRCDealing with queries and correspondence with HMRCManaging Making Tax Digital (MTD) processes, including setting up clients on softwareChasing client paperwork and completing quarterly returnsReviewing and implementing systems to improve efficiencyClient invoicing, payment tracking, and credit control for self-assessment clientsHolding client meetings to provide tax planning advice and supportCompleting accounts during face-to-face client meetings where requiredIdeal Candidate: Tax experience within a practicePreferably Bookkeeping and VAT skills/experiencePersonable with a good telephone mannerConfident communicating with clients both over the phone and face to faceComfortable holding client meetings, including advising on ways to reduce tax liabilitiesAble to conduct face-to-face meetings where accounts may be completed with the client presentAdaptable when working with a variety of clientsExperience using IRIS and XeroStrong multitasking abilitiesA team playerIf you''re keen to find out more, please contact Liam Snell at LGS Vision Recruitment. ..... full job details .....
