Tax Accountant

Our client, a leading and established Accountancy firm is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking for a Tax Accountant to join their team based in their Tunbridge Wells office on a hybrid-basis, working closely with colleagues across the business to support on tax queries from a broad portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will be CTA qualified and have practical experience in a Practice setting. Key Responsibilities:Provide a high-level of tax advice and services across a wide range of services, including but not limited to income tax, corporate tax, inheritance tax and capital gains tax Assist colleagues of all levels with tax queries on a portfolio of clients Research complex tax issues and provide practical, solutions-driven advice Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients Offer tax planning and advisory services to clients Supervise and mentor junior staff, acting as a point of contact for any queries or questions where necessary Key Experience:Ideally CTA qualified or the ability to demonstrate a high-level of knowledge in all areas of tax, ideally within a Practice environment Excellent communicator, confident liaising with colleagues, clients and third parties of all levelsStrong knowledge and understanding of UK tax legislation, tax planning and compliance Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Experience managing a portfolio of clients would be ..... full job details .....
