This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional seeking a varied role with responsibility for managing their own client portfolio while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.The role is primarily focused on Personal Tax, offering exposure to a broad range of tax work and ongoing professional development opportunities.Your New RoleAs a Tax Assistant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and supporting them throughout the tax compliance cycle. Duties will include:Preparing Self Assessment and Partnership Tax ReturnsLiaising directly with clients and HMRC regarding tax payments, repayments and queriesManaging an allocated portfolio of clients throughout the yearPreparing 60-Day Capital Gains Tax ReturnsSupporting with Let Property Campaign disclosuresAssisting with smaller HMRC tax enquiriesAnalysing rental income information for Self Assessment Tax ReturnsReviewing and analysing client data for Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions, particularly for property clients and smaller self-employed businessesPreparing P11D formsProviding excellent client service and maintaining strong client relationshipsWhat You''ll Need to SucceedThe successful candidate will have:A minimum of 2 years'' experience working within a tax role, ideally within accountancy ..... full job details .....
