The setting provides a structured and nurturing environment, with a strong focus on behaviour support, emotional regulation and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, both inside and outside of the classroom, using de-escalation techniques, positive behaviour strategies and building strong, trusting relationships to encourage engagement in learning.
