Pertemps Technical are recruiting for a Systems Test Engineer for one of our Clients based in Clevedon, BS21. As a Systems Test Engineer you will report to the Test Supervisor and will have relationships with all other departments.
Overview:
- Monday to Friday, 38.5 hours per week
- Experience in a similar role is necessary
- Salary between £33,000-£35,761 based on experience

- Testing and inspecting Battery Tripping Units, Inverters and U.P.S. Systems
- To test manufactured equipment to agreed standards
- To test bought-in equipment to agreed standards
- To complete factory acceptance tests (FAT’s) to customer specifications
- To capacity test batteries.
- To evaluate testing of both new & existing equipment and ensure that agreed standards are achieved
- To maintain test equipment to required standards
- To provide fault finding down to component level on both through hole and surface mount PCBs
- To assist in the development and writing of agreed standards
- Participate in troubleshooting and reporting of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- To ensure quality standards and records are maintained
- To provide feedback to Design and Engineering and to participate in design review meetings
Qualifications / Knowledge:
- Knowledge of QAM (sections 1-3) QAP2.7, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2
- MS Office
- MRP
- Understanding of high frequency power supply technology
- LabView
