Systems Safety and Reliability Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a Systems Safety and Reliability Engineer to join our Team, in Filton.The Role :Support the development activities associated with the ATA28 (Fuel) and ATA32 (Landing Gear) systems, subsystems and equipment, including coordination with suppliers and flight tests.Lead and support the Airbus ATA28 (Fuel) and ATA32 (Landing Gear) team as the Safety focal point on Functional Safety activities.Generate and review Safety Assessment and Analyses for Aircraft Systems (FHA, pSSA, SSA, Fault Trees, Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments).Work with other ATA28 and ATA32 Engineers and signatories along with interfaces such as Systems and Structures interfaces, Certification specialists, Chief Engineers, Procurement and Vendors.Support Airbus Commercial ATA28 and ATA32 System activities, including introducing new functionality to systems, ensuring robust cascade of requirements to the system, and lead development of the system to meet the requirements.Support phase reviews and Validation and Verification activities. This is whilst ensuring activity meets Safety and technical needs, following the appropriate processes and procedures, demonstrating strong requirement adherence and VandV.Definition of the System development activities required within a Statement of Work (SoW) for each task, deriving planning and resource needs.Experience required:University degree in EngineeringAt least 10 years of experience in Aeronautical engineering, ideally in the ..... full job details .....
