Systems Integration Architectx3 days p/w in Reading6-month initial contractSC to start - UKEO programme Rates open, outside IR35Our client, a small engineering consultancy in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Systems Integration Architect on a contract basis to join their team in Reading. This role involves hybrid working and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to large-scale digital transformation programmes.Key Responsibilities:Lead enterprise integration and architecture assessments across complex programmes.Develop and assess target-state architectures aligned to organisational and programme objectives.Evaluate current systems, technology, integration and data architectures.Identify architecture gaps, dependencies, interoperability challenges and opportunities for improvement.Provide expert guidance across Enterprise Architecture, Digital Engineering, Systems Engineering and MBSE.Assess how modelling, simulation, synthetic environments and Test and Evaluation capabilities integrate within wider enterprise ecosystems.Support the development of enterprise integration strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans.Engage with government, defence organisations, suppliers and multinational stakeholders.Provide technical leadership during governance reviews, workshops and strategic decision-making activities.Produce high-quality reports, recommendations and executive-level briefings.Job Requirements:Essential Experience:Strong experience in Enterprise ..... full job details .....
