Cambridge Full-Time Hybrid - 4 days on site 45-50K Are you an experienced Infrastructure or Systems Engineer looking for an opportunity to take ownership of IT services and influence technology strategy within a prestigious organisation? We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected educational institution seeking a talented Systems Infrastrucutre Engineer to join its IT department. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, this role offers the opportunity to lead on infrastructure design, service improvement, major incident management and the delivery of strategic technology projects across a complex and evolving environment. This is an ideal position for a senior technical professional with strong Microsoft infrastructure expertise, networking knowledge and a passion for delivering secure, resilient and high-performing IT services. The Role As Systems Engineer, you will act as a senior technical authority responsible for the design, management and continual improvement of critical infrastructure platforms, network services and enterprise applications. You will take ownership of key systems, provide third-line support for complex technical issues, lead infrastructure projects and ensure services meet agreed performance, security and availability targets.
