Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Systems Requirements Engineer to join their growing team. This role is vital for supporting European forces in maximising the system''s potential and extending capabilities for current and future export contracts.

• Helping the customer understand and capture their needs
• Deriving suitable system, subsystem, and software requirements to meet those needs
• Informing product line approaches to create a common suite of products for different customers
• Determining and managing processes and procedures to control changes
• Acting as a customer for specific software items

• Significant experience in requirements management and derivation (ideally in defence)
• Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, DOORS NG, and Rhapsody
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers
• Knowledge in engineering change control and management
• Capability to initiate and drive trade studies and system development activities
• Experience in developing complex systems (ideally in defence)
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience of working with product lines would be beneficial
