The organisation is replacing ageing on-premises systems with a cutting-edge cloud-native architecture within a greenfield AWS environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant advancements in technology and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include: Analysing and understanding existing legacy systems and infrastructure.Collaborating with stakeholders to define future-state requirements and translating them into scalable cloud solutions.Designing and building infrastructure within a greenfield AWS environment.Supporting the migration and replacement of legacy applications with modern cloud-native services.Defining infrastructure architecture, standards, and operational approaches for new platforms.Building and supporting environments for data platforms, web-based applications, mapping and GIS tools, and microservices-based platforms.Implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation where appropriate.Ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, and compliant with security requirements.Identifying technical challenges and providing appropriate mitigation strategies.Driving operational excellence through monitoring, ..... full job details .....
