The successful Systems Engineer will need to have recent knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal including WinCC. The Systems Engineer role could suit someone with around 5 years experience.Overview

Responsibilities

Recent and demonstrable experience of Siemens TIA Portal and WinCCThe successful Systems Engineer will learn and ultimately be responsible for system configuration, including PLC code and WinCC SCADA configurations to meet project requirements.Will be mentored by a seasoned, high calibre Systems Engineer – key to be committed to learning, developing and putting into practice what’s been taughtRole will be mainly office basedProduce project documentation including Functional Design Specifications, Project Specific Drawings, Design Risk Assessments, Test Procedures, Operator / Maintenance manuals and Training manualsAny knowledge of scripting and/or C++ would be beneficialExperience with PLC communications including PROFIBUS, Industrial Ethernet, Profinet or ModBus – nice to haveThe Systems Engineer role will involve occasional international travel and therefore applicants should not be subject to any travel restrictions.It’s estimated the successful Systems Engineer time will be split between working in the office and on site to be 70/30 with 80% of all site work being based in the UK.Location
