Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer Permanent (must have or be able to obtain SC Clearance) Redhill, Surrey £45,000 to £50,000 per year Pension, Bonus, Training and Development, Private Healthcare, etc. Skills and Experience: Ability to diagnose complex faults, document, communicate and follow up corrective actions Good knowledge of TCP/IP Networking concepts including Routing, Switching, Firewalling, including Layer 7 Firewalls Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu, Apache, MySQL) Asterisk/VoIP platforms Windows Server and VMware intermediate level experience Hardware and/or software systems development and design experience Programming knowledge - Scripting (Bash, Perl) Working knowledge of satellite networks and infrastructure, Firewalls and traffic shaping experience. To act as in-house Product expert on selected systems and applications, keeping abreast of new developments in the IT andamp; Communications industry applicable to my client''s specific markets. To produce and maintain detailed technical documentation relating to the new solutions/developments and to work with the Product Management team on ensuring that any new developments are rolled out effectively across the organization.
