Systems Engineer

An established engineering organisation is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Systems Engineer to deliver bespoke engineering and test solutions for complex applications across aerospace, defence and other regulated industries. You''ll act as the technical link between customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams, translating operational needs into clear requirements, system architectures and practical solutions. This varied role spans the complete engineering lifecycle, from requirements capture and concept development through design, integration, verification, commissioning and customer acceptance. Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with customers to understand operational needs, technical requirements and acceptance criteria.Lead requirements workshops and translate customer needs into clear, verifiable system requirements.Develop system concepts, architectures, use cases and interface definitions.Coordinate hardware, software, electrical and mechanical engineering inputs to deliver integrated solutions.Evaluate technical options and trade-offs, balancing performance, reliability, safety, cost and schedule.Manage requirements traceability, technical risks, assumptions and engineering changes.Contribute to technical reviews and ensure designs meet agreed requirements.Develop verification and validation strategies, test plans and acceptance documentation.Support system integration, troubleshooting, factory acceptance testing, commissioning and customer ..... full job details .....
