Systems Engineer

Fortress Recruit is now looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join a leading defence organisation as part of their growing engineering team, responsible for delivering advanced systems used across global naval and defence programmes. You''ll work on a mixture of defence programmes and customer projects, taking ownership of complete system designs from requirements through to customer delivery. The business is investing heavily in new product development and redesign programmes making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges whilst influencing future product development. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the technical delivery of customer projects across the full systems engineering lifecycle Acting as the technical authority for system designs, supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout delivery Developing, reviewing and maintaining system requirements, technical documentation and engineering baselines Supporting system architecture, integration, verification and customer acceptance activities Leading technical and design reviews whilst working closely with customers throughout project delivery Supporting product redesign activities, system architecture development and future technology roadmaps Working closely with software, electronics, mechanical and production engineers to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions Managing engineering change, configuration control and technical ..... full job details .....
