Systems Engineer - Cloud

The OpportunityOur client is a global consultancy supporting organisations across the defence and national security sectors. They are looking for a Systems Engineer to join their Infrastructure and Platform Services team, supporting secure, reliable and resilient technology across cloud and on-premises environments. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to develop their skills across Azure, Windows/Linux, virtualisation, Kubernetes, OpenShift and automation while working alongside experienced engineers and architects. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.Maintain Windows Server and Linux platforms.Assist with the deployment and support of Microsoft Azure services.Support virtualisation, Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and capacity.Support incident, problem and change management.Assist with backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.Contribute to automation, Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations and continuous improvement.Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. About YouDegree in IT, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.Up to 3 years'' experience in infrastructure, systems administration, cloud support or technical operations.Foundational understanding of cloud and enterprise infrastructure.Strong interest in systems, ..... full job details .....
