Systems Developer (Azure / c#)

East Midlands, UK 1 x per week| Permanent| Full Time | 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established, global organisation with a strong UK presence, looking for a Systems Developer to join their IT team. You''ll be responsible for the development and coding of high-quality solutions and packages that meet project requirements, deconstructing complex problems into manageable steps as you support the business in delivering IT-enabled change.

You''ll contribute to a strong team culture by writing, reviewing and providing constructive feedback on colleagues'' code, and by producing clear technical documentation for internal and external use.

This is a great opportunity for a systems or software developer with a strength in Azure Integration Services, looking for a new challenge with a business that values technology as a driver of change

What You''ll Be Doing

• Designing, developing and coding solutions that meet project and business requirements
• Breaking down complex problems into manageable steps and thinking critically about solutions
• Reviewing code written by other developers and providing constructive feedback
• Producing clear technical documentation for internal and external audiences
• Participating in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and sprint reviews
• Translating non-technical business requirements into clear, concise technical specifications
• Understanding cloud architecture and business processes, and how these are implemented at code level

What We''re Looking For

• Good working knowledge of Azure Development & Azure Integration Services, including Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps and API Management
• Experience with Bicep for Azure infrastructure-as-code
• A keen eye for detail and strong time management, with the ability to meet deadlines
• A passion for technology and willingness to learn new languages, frameworks and tools as the field evolves
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• The right attitude — a genuine interest in understanding business needs and putting them first
