Systems Data Analyst

A client of ours in the Clacton-on-Sea area are recruiting a Systems Data Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm or 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying -25,000 - -29,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance routine business reports using SQL and Excel.
• Support the design and implementation of BI dashboards and analytical tools.
• Partner with internal teams to gather, document, and clarify reporting requirements.
• Support data quality, validation, cleansing activities, and identify and resolve data issues.
• Perform data import/export and automation tasks, including mass changes, using SQL and Python where applicable.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for data and analytics-related queries, escalating issues when appropriate.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Systems Data Analyst position:

• GCSE Maths & English Grade C (4/5) or above.
• Demonstrable experience using Excel, SQL, and familiarity with at least one BI reporting tool.
• Strong analytical skills
• Prior experience with Sage, Salesforce, or Qlik preferred.
• Familiarity with Python/API for data import/export tasks is desirable.
• Ability to translate data insights for stakeholders
• Previous experience within a Data Anaylst or IT Anaylst role
