We are currently partnering with a world-leading defence engineering organisation to recruit a Systems Architect to join their growing Mission Planning and Control team. You''ll join a collaborative architecture team responsible for shaping complex system designs using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and working across multiple engineering disciplines. If you''re passionate about systems architecture, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and want to contribute to cutting-edge defence technology, I''d love to hear from you. The role: Working alongside the Lead Architect and wider engineering teams, you''ll be responsible for developing and maintaining system architectures that support the delivery of sophisticated Mission Planning capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop system designs using MBSE principles. Producing and reviewing architecture models and technical artefacts. Supporting key engineering milestones and design reviews. Ensuring system models remain accurate, coherent and drive successful development. Maintaining traceability across the wider Weapon Systems programme. Promoting architectural best practice, standardisation and re-use across product lines. Working within a highly collaborative engineering environment to solve complex technical challenges.
