37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home where feasible)

52-week assignment, starting Monday 19 October 2026

Hatched Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced Systems and Resource Manager to join Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council''s Sports Services management team for 12 months. This is a senior role leading quality assurance, procurement, systems and business improvement across the council''s leisure services.

What you''ll be doing:

• Leading the Quality Assurance team, including external quality schemes such as Investors in People and Customer Service Excellence
• Leading procurement across Sports Services, including drafting specifications and tender documents and monitoring contracts
• Controlling and developing the Legend Leisure Management software to support service delivery and income generation
• Developing the Vitality Household Programme as a key income and participation driver at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex
• Carrying out efficiency reviews and internal audits of policies and procedures, and developing business improvement action plans
• Making sure GDPR requirements are maintained across all Sports Services facilities, including staff training
• Building strong relationships with council units, external providers and partners

What you''ll need:

• A degree or equivalent (or at least 5 years'' relevant experience instead)
• At least 3 years'' experience managing a business or administrative function
• At least 3 years'' experience in each of the following:
• developing operational business plans
• developing the use of ICT to support service delivery and income generation
• introducing, implementing and monitoring financial procedures
• implementing and maintaining external quality models such as Customer Service Excellence
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car, or other transport that meets the needs of the role
