Systems and Asset Data Specialist

Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils are looking for a Systems and Asset Data Specialist to join our team. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £38,510 - £45,529 per annum. This role is open to full time, part time, and job share applications, all of which will be assessed equally. About the Team The Public Realm Team is responsible for the management and maintenance of the councils countryside sites, parks, open spaces and play areas. The team also oversees the council s tree stock, grounds maintenance programmes, street cleansing operations, including litter collection and mechanical sweeping, and the removal of fly-tipping across the districts. About the role In this exciting, innovative role, you will lead the development and management of our Public Realm systems, asset data and spatial information. You will be pivotal in ensuring that the information we hold about our assets is accurate, reliable and effectively used to support decision-making, service planning and day-to-day operations.
