Working in a fast-paced environment with time-critical solutions required, this role is to support all areas of the business to ensure effective IT solutions are in place at all times.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Supporting the end user base with 1st/2nd/3rd line incident ticketsProject Management workSupporting key business systemsPerformance management of business systemsPerforming hardware and software maintenance/upgrades where needed3rd party Supplier managementDocumentation of software/systemsPart of an on-call, 24-hour team rota, providing cover on nights and bank holidays.Maintaining a high degree of customer serviceQualifications / Experience:Microsoft Windows Server Management (2012/2016/2019)Desktop PCs and Operating systems (Windows 10/8/7/XP)Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCPNetworking and firewalls including VLANs, trunking, content filtering and application rulesCisco VOIP Telephone installs and maintenanceVirtualisation technologies including Hyper-V and VMware vSphereBackup/DR technologies including VeeamERP / Business Process KnowledgeIT Security - Desktop/File and Folder/Network/InternetRetail EPOS experienceAdvanced hardware/software diagnosis and fault finding skillsWorking under own initiativeFlexible working hours, required to work out of hoursRecording problems and their solutions for future referenceTraining users on new systems or software applicationsAt least 5 years’ experience in a similar roleHighly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing prioritiesLiaison with third parties to seek ..... full job details .....
