Systems Accountant

Role: Systems AccountantType: PermanentSalary: £46,000 - £58,000Hybrid Working: 2 days on-site per weekLocation: South YorkshireSellick Partnership are supporting a large public sector organisation in South Yorkshire with the recruitment of a Systems Accountant to support the implementation and ongoing development of a new finance system.Key responsibilities include: Leading finance workstreams during a major finance system implementation Acting as the finance systems subject matter expert for system design, testing, and configuration Working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery Managing system improvements, upgrades, and ongoing development Supporting financial controls, reporting, compliance, and audit requirements Delivering finance systems training and user support across the organisationThe ideal candidate will have: A recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) Experience of finance system implementation, transformation, or major upgrades Strong financial accounting and finance systems knowledge Experience working with senior stakeholders and complex organisations Excellent Excel, systems, and problem-solving skillsIf you believe that you are well suited to this excellent opportunity of Systems Accountant, please apply directly or contact Jack Rice at Sellick Partnership for more information.
