Systems Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Accountant to lead the development, optimisation, and governance of a finance systems environment centred around NetSuite Financials and associated reporting tools.Client DetailsA not-for-profit organisation based in Birmingham, dedicated to creating positive change in the community.DescriptionReporting to the Head of Finance, you will:Lead the day-to-day administration, development, and optimisation of NetSuite Financials.Act as the organisation''s finance systems subject matter expert.Drive finance systems improvements, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.Lead systems projects from concept through to successful implementation.Develop and maintain financial reporting, dashboards, and management information.Ensure robust governance, financial controls, and data integrity across finance systems.Monitor integrations and troubleshoot system issues.Deliver training, guidance, and support to users across the organisation.Supervise and develop a junior member of the finance team.Collaborate with Finance, IT, operational teams, and external software providers to deliver continuous improvement.ProfileSignificant experience in a Systems Accountant or Finance Systems role.Strong expertise in NetSuite or another ERP finance system.Proven experience delivering finance systems enhancements and transformation projects.Strong understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, and financial controls.Experience improving ..... full job details .....
