Systems Accountant| City of London | 3 - 6 Month Contract Project | -500 - -750 per day | Full-time in office

We''re looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Specialist to lead a high-impact change programme within our finance function. Reporting into the FC & CEO. This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded Finance Transformation Specialist who thrives in fast-moving environments, can redesign and optimise processes, and ensure our systems and teams are set up for long-term success.

What you''ll do:

• Map, evaluate, and streamline key finance processes (AP, AR, Payroll, Management Accounts, Balance Sheet Recs, and more)
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies through detailed gap analysis, delivering actionable roadmaps
• Re-engineer workflows for accuracy, compliance, and scalability, leveraging ERP automation (NetSuite experience desirable)
• Collaborate with consultants and internal teams to embed process improvements and enhance reporting
• Upskill finance teams, driving a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement

What we''re looking for:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 5-10 years in systems accounting or finance transformation
• Proven success leading optimisation projects, ideally in multi-entity or SME environments
• ERP experience (NetSuite or similar) with strong systems mapping and reporting capability
• Change management experience with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive, detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to work autonomously
